OFFICIAL DRAFT FORMAT

Faceoff League Draft

8 teams · 7-round Snake Draft · Individual registration

TEAM ROSTERS

5–10 active players

Every team must have at least five active players, six is recommended and ten is the maximum. A playing General Manager counts as one active player; a non-playing General Manager does not.

DRAFT PROCESS

Players register individually

Registered players enter the Draft Pool, play Combine matches and can be selected by any of the eight General Managers. Undrafted players become Free Agents.

SNAKE DRAFT

1 → 8, then 8 → 1

Every team receives exactly one pick in every round. The direction reverses after each completed round and continues to alternate for the entire Draft.

PICK TIMER

2:00 / 1:30

Rounds 1–2 use a two-minute timer. Every later round uses 90 seconds. Each GM receives one three-minute timeout, and staff may use a submitted preference list after a missed pick.

PLAYER RESPONSIBILITIES

Accept the selected team

Players must provide accurate availability, communicate with their team, remain reasonably active, respect league members and avoid manipulating the Draft.

UNDRAFTED PLAYERS

Free Agency

Players who are not selected become Free Agents and may join a team later when a valid roster position becomes available.
